- MOSFET/SiC-MOS technology for the hardening converters, frequency range 100kHz-1MHz, IGBT technology for the tempering converters, frequency range 10-20KHz
- High speed and high precision servo system for the horizontal positioning. Two horizontal drive systems, programmable synchronization between them

Description
The combined horizontal hardening machines are fully automated machines for hardening and tempering of shafts having different lengths and diameters. The machine is equipped with an automatic feeder having high storing capacity.
The hardening area is equipped with part rotating cylinders, precision servo system for part positioning, inductors with quench ring, additional cooling system, evacuation mechanism and part selection based on the quality check result. The hardening area is followed by the tempering area, for both there are separate servo systems to manipulate the part.
The hardening and tempering technology can be independently programmed, there is a synchronization between the two procedures.
The main functional parts of the machine are located in individual cabinets, thus the induction heating converters, the quenching and cooling system and the control cabinets are placed in separate cabinets with easy access.
The control and monitoring of the hardening and tempering process is realized with Siemens PLC, touch panel and servo system, having Profinet communication.
The machine is designed for high productivity without permanent supervision.
