- IGBT or MOSFET/SiC-MOS technology for the converters, frequency range 10kHz-1MHz

- Automatic feeder with long autonomy (30 minutes to 75 minutes, depending on the size of the shaft)

- Easy to program, compiler for program verification. Very flexible programming using simple instructions (similar to G-Code)
- Manual and automatic mode of operation, individual commands for each execution element from the touch panel or the hand-held remote controller
- Ethernet-based connection to external PC for data logging, visualization, program editing, etc.
- Quality monitoring of the hardened parts based on the energy, quench temperature, quench flow rate, frequency, and power.
Description
The compact horizontal hardening machines are fully automated machines for hardening of shafts having different lengths and diameters. The machine is equipped with an automatic feeder having high storing capacity.
The hardening area is equipped with part rotating cylinders, precision servo system for part positioning, inductor with quench ring, additional cooling system, evacuation mechanism and part selection based on the quality check result.
The machine has a compact construction, it is easy to relocate. The main functional parts of the machine are located in individual cabinets, thus the induction heating converter, the quenching and cooling system and the control cabinets are placed in separate cabinets with easy access.
The control and monitoring of the hardening process is realized with Siemens PLC, touch panel and servo system, having Profinet communication. The machine is designed for high productivity without permanent supervision.
