High-Frequency Converters
The high frequency (HF) converters covers a wide frequency range, in our definition between 100kHz-1MHz. Our high frequency converters are designed using MOS or SiC-MOS power inverters, digital control electronic, a high variety of industrial bus systems (Profibus, ProfiNet, etc.), secured web-based access to some configuration and online data.
Typical applications of the high frequency converters are hardening, brazing, pipe-welding.
Medium-Frequency Converters
Medium-Frequency Converters
The frequency range of the medium frequency (MF) converters is typically between 1kHz-100kHz. The converters are built using IGBT technology, using digital control electronic, PLC for process control and industrial communication. The medium frequency converters are typically high power converters, the main application area is forging, melting, tempering or hardening of big parts.
Tetronic’s medium frequency converters are designed to cover all main application areas, there are standard converters or custom made solution based on the specified requirements.
Hardening Machines
Hardening Machines
The hardening machines are designed usually based on the client’s requirements. There are two main type of hardening machines, namely the horizontal hardening machines (HHM series) and vertical hardening machines (VHM series). Using our wide range of converters (HF or MF, or both) we can fulfill almost any request of hardening machines. Our specialty is the combined machine using hardening and tempering converters in the same technological line.
The automation level of the machines are variable, we can offer full automatic machines with feeder or robotic loader, rotating table or semi-automatic machines with manual loading. The software of the machines include hardening quality monitoring, part selection and statistics.

The high voltage power supplies are special power converters having DC or Pulse output above 1000VDC. Our high voltage power converters are design mainly for vacuum applications, like sputtering, plasma-nitrading or for feeding high voltage high frequency oscillators. The power range vary from 2kW to several hundreds of kilowatts.
